How romp. started.
Every dog parent knows the feeling — you find a new park, drive across town, and discover it's closed, overcrowded, or not actually off-leash. You go home frustrated. Your dog goes home confused.
romp. started because we got tired of that feeling. We wanted real information about real spots — not just a pin on a map, but verified hours, live amenities, and reviews from people who actually showed up with their dogs.

Reviews from real visitors
Ratings and reviews come straight from Google — written by real people who showed up. We surface the most relevant so you can decide before you drive.
Photos from the community
Location photos come from Google Places — uploaded by visitors to each spot. What you see is what real people found when they arrived.
romp. uses the Google Places API to surface location data and reviews. All ratings, review counts, and photos are owned by their respective contributors on Google Maps. romp. check-ins and romp. reviews are separate from and in addition to Google Reviews.
